Pumpkin Carving

We, well I decided I wanted to carve our Parker size pumpkin the other day. Daddy cut it open and said EEWW that stinks..I smelled it and I'll be darned, it smelt like a pumpkin! He sure can be a girl at times, he wanted nothing to do with removing the inside of it! Me on the other hand dug right in and had a good old time. It brough back memories of me and my brother carving pumpkins at the table with mom and dad, now i know why they always put newspaper down IT STAINS! His whole highchair is now a tint of orange!!!! I want Parker to be able to remember those memories as well obviously he wont remember this but I want to keep this going so he can remember as he gets older! So thank you mom for doing all the little things I dont think I'll ever forget! Here are some pictures from our carving!!!

Tonight my husband has some wild bug up his butt and wanted to do Parkers hair....This is why men should NEVER be able to be around hair spray unless its for themselves. Lord help us if we have a daughter!

Busy Weekend

I just couldn't seem to get on here for my blog all weekend. Friday was the surgery for my uncle and things went good. I had a girls night out with a few of the moms from my mommies group on friday night. Parker was still sick so I took him to the doctor on Sat and he still has a double ear infection so they gave him a shot of antibotics and he was miserable all afternoon. We had a wedding Sat night and it was on the beach with it being as windy as it was I knew there was no way Parker was going with me being miserable and in the wind with his ears so my mother in law took him for the night so I could enjoy the wedding! Sunday once Parker came home from Grandma's the 3 of us went grocery shoppin and just spent the day together and Parker was in a very good mood so we took advantage of it!! Its day 2 of the new meds and hes doing better but hes spitting up A LOT and its got lots of mucus in it...quite nasty thats for sure! He's also got a dry cough so not sure what thats about...gotta love the "winter" months. We might live in Florida but we still seem to get those nasty colds!!! Today I took Parker to his grandmas because tomorrow I have to take my uncle for sugery and wouldn't have time to get the baby up,feed and packed for grandma's and to grandma's before we had to be to the hospital at 6am. The ride home was quiet but a lil to quite I kept looking in the rear view expecting to see him sleeping or hear him screaming at his carseat cause he is strapped in but instead I seen an empty back seat.... It made me try to think back to life before Parker when I was able to just up and go without worrying if I have a bottle,formula,diapers,wipes,food,a spoon,clothes incase he gets messy,bibs to keep his clothes clean oh yeah and dont forget the baby!!!! I remember the first time I went somewhere with him by myself it took me I kid you not almost an hour to get everything in the car and then to get him and me in there!! Then I was worried what do I do if he cries? Is he going to be good on the way there??What if he gets hungry..and it goes on and on! I didn't ever think it was going to get easy even though everyone kept saying its only going to get easier, now I can say yes they were all right, now I just grab 2 bags and the baby then we're out the door! Of course if I use anything while I am out I always replace it when we get home so I am not rushing around the next time we leave because you never know when your going to have to grab and go then hope everything is in the bag!! I have to say I am lost without my boy here with me, he was gone to his other grandma's all last weekend so I feel like I only have him part time... I cant wait to pick him up tomorrow night!! Thanks mom for watching him for me! I will see you tomorrow!

Parker and Ryan

I am apart of a clearwater stay at home mommy group and have met some awesome mommies and babies! Lorraine just joined the group and I seen her son Ryan was the same age as Parker, we started to talk and today we got together at a park to let the boys get to know each other. They did really well, I think Parker is going to have a friend out of Ryan, not to mention Lorraine is a sweet person so it might be a good realtionship all around!!! here are some pictures from today

Its a new day in Tampa Bay!!!

Not sure how many of you are MLB fans but our very own Tampa Bay Rays are headed to the World Series!!!!!! The hubby and I ran out to get shirts last night and no one had them...so this morning I went to the local walmart and got 2 for us, I looked for one in Parker size but all they had out was Buc's stuff! The City of St.Petesburg held a pep rally of sort! There was hair stylist giving out free Ray Hawks, we tried to get one for the hubby but the line was incredible long and it was getting to hot for the 3 of us, so that was a no go but we did enjoy ourselfs and Parker was good all night didnt start to get cranky till the end but it was past his bed time, however it is almost 9pm and the lil stinker is still up!!! heres some pictures from tonight

New Formula not so good

Parker was at Grandma Roberts all weekend because friday I had a bacholrette party to go to and sat I had a horrible hangover and she said he spit up the formula more than the enfamil A.R so now I have to call the doctor tomorrow and find out whats going to happen next! This is so frustrating, I should of just left things alone. When we went to pick him up today he projectile vomited on his daddy:( I really hope they figure something out, we might just end up going back to the other formula because this doesnt seem to be working! So hopefully sometime this week we will have some answers!!!!

Our Trip to the GI Doctor

Well we got up bright and early for a 8:15am apt. The apt went well I guess, they are yet again changing his formula and want him back on previcid they they want to see us again in 6weeks. Parker HATES this new formula its called nutraigum its for cow milk allergy, we dont know if he has it but this is one way to find out.He wouldn't take the bottle earlier so I called the doctor and they wanted me to do half n half between his old formula and his new one. On top of that hes getting antibotics! Poor lil man, hes so miserable you can tell just looking at him! I am really hoping this is going to work, I dont even want to think about whats would be next if this isn't it?!?!?! So tomorrow its another day of half n half then slowly getting more of the new stuff than the old stuff!

Another wonderful day as a Mommy

I was visiting my mom the other day and she was asking me why I havent update my blog..... I guess I spend to much time on Myspace so this blog is for you mom!!!

This morning when I woke up my son's nose was NASTY runny and he was really fussy so I thought I would call the doc. I told them what his symptoms were and they wanted me to bring him in to make sure it wasnt an ear infection, well it turned out to be a DOUBLE ear infection. I do feel horrible for him because I know how painful my ear infections are but I never understood the effects of having a 7month old with an ear infection!!! So hes in antibotics twice a day and tynoel every 4hours...gotta love this mommy life! Tomorrow we have a bright and early apt with a GI doctor about Parker's reflux, I am happy because this might give me an answer to his spitting up problem but nervous because there are a few test they might have to do that are going to be hard to deal with! One being the Probe test, they stick a tube down his nose into his throat and see how many times he refluxes he will be sedated for them to put in the tube and will be admited to the hospital for 23hours to monitor the reflux...we know he does reflux so I am not sure what else its going to tell us! We'll just have to wait and see! So untill next time...

How fast time flies.

7 months ago right now my son was only an hour and ten mins old! Where in the world did the time go?! Since he has turn 7 months he has brought so much joy into my life and those around him, he is learning so much tooo fast! He is crawling all over the place,pulling up on things, he plays peek a book,he will wave bye bye and loves to get into things hes not suppose to! I know I kept saying I cant wait till hes mobile but now I wish he wasnt, to an extend, atleast now he can crawl into the kitchen and play when I am doing dishes without screaming cause he cant see me but then he likes to play in the dog bowl and play with the dirty dust pan and broom then he finds the dirtiest things to pick up...like dust bunnies?!?! Where and why does he pick those up? He's all boy thats for sure. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I love when I walk into a room his lil face lights up with joy and he does his O face likes he supprised to see you! He is def a happier baby because he can "do things on his own." He is very strong willed thats for sure, if he wants something he will do anything to get it, even if it means climbing over you and a mounatin he will get to what he wants! This is just the begining of all the joys he will bring to my life and I cant wait to experience even if it means I get a few grey hairs!!!
